In celebration of the 1st anniversary of Vancouver Mural Festival, we went on a mural bike tour of the city with Hayo Magazine and Mobi Bikes.

Walking hurriedly to and from life's daily demands, you never really realize just how many beautiful pieces of art are spread across the sides of buildings, warehouses, corporate offices, breweries, park benches and the like. If going out to explore Main St & 14th St. areas,  stop and take in a number of murals by well-known artists Low Bros, Ola Volo, Andrea Won, iHeart, Scott Sueme and more.

If you have a chance to check out and admire any of the four major walking mural tours one afternoon, it's definitely worthwhile. Not only does Van Mural Fest have categorized tours for everyone to maximize their art encounters, but you'll be taken a beautiful visual escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
